Got tickets for the Manchester gig in November. Looks like being a bit special with your guests. ‘Joining Declan and Christy on stage will be players Gerry O’Connor, Tim Edey and Neil Martin with The West Ocean String Quartet.’ We are already looking forward to it! Nice renditions of ‘Morcambe Bay’ at the folk awards and ‘Sweet Thames, Flow Softly’on the Andrew Marr show. Don’t understand why AM always put their guest musicians right at the end and then cut them short especially as it’s not a regular feature for the show. Regards – Bernie Allen

Thanks Bernie…you have drawn our attention to an error in The Bridgewater’s promo…Declan and I will not be joined by the others mentioned… I have no idea where they got that from but we are looking into it…
Hi christy
I just wanted to thank you so much for the gig in the triskel for the vita cortex workers. My father is henry o reilly the man you spoke about seeing on the late late show. I have been watching that clip over and over and each time im overcome with emotion. Thank you to you and declan. Myself and my family and im sure all the other workers and their families will be forever grateful. Keep up the good work. Never stop singing.

it was a priviledge to stand beside the Vita Cortex Workers…my best wishes to your father and his comrades
I recently bought your 1994 at The Point album and has quickly become one of my most frequently playing albums at the minute (and I’m sure it will continue to be for a long time!).
Just like your introduction of Black is the Colour, I was wondering if I could get the chords or tab for this song. I’ve googled and searched youtube, but cannot find any tutorials much to my frustration! If I could play it a fraction of the excellence with which you do, I would be a very happy man!!
Keep up the great work and hope to see you in Belfast again sometime soon!

Its the only album of yours that I haven’t got so its like an itch that needs scratched. Ill go on to 4711ers and see if anyone else can help me out.
Hope you’re well. Keep her lit.

Website looking great Christy and team! Will share on Facebook! Hope all is well. Don’t know if you remember Christy, I interviewed you on our local Youth and Community Radio Station in Brownlow, Co.Armagh, called Xtreme FM back in 2004, how time flies…
Welcome back to iWorld, Christy – I was home in Cork last week and caught the “One night only” special so then had to go out and buy 4 more CD’s that I didn’t already have and lug them all the way back here. Don’t suppose there’s a chance you’d visit the left coast any time…you have many mighty fans here in SF.
Thought you had cut the umbilical cord there Christy – there was talk of an internet concert, any more plans for this?
Christy's reply
not at all Maureen, we were just in having the toenails clipped and nosehairs trimmed…re Internet Concert…we still talk about it…about once a year the support team become very animated and interested in such a project, until I leave the room and they forget all about it..I still fancy the idea, maybe 2012 will mark the year of our first cyber gig….16 jolly ravers each one carrying his own cawl
Oh praise be! You’re back!!! Good though to go through cold turkey! Have listened to many items on the internet with your goodself. Highlight of course BBC Folk Awards. As Jean Dujardin said the other night ” Formidable”. xx
Christy's reply
its good to be back…the backroom team have not slept for two weeks…slaving away at whatever it is they do….I dont know how anything works but I know how to work bits of it..good to hear from you Anuk..hope we will see you in Derrylondon
Christy
Good to have you back. Saw you on the Andrew Marr show a couple of weeks ago. Your voice was as clear as ever, and Declan’s playing was perfect as usual. Doesn’t matter what song you sing, the quality isn’t diluted. Wasn’t quite sure about Andrew Marr’s intro, or why he said what he did, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Christy's reply
Andrew was a grand chap, watched him with Hockney last night…I’ve a feeling he does a fair bit of busking, he wings it a bit, just like myself when I wander of into the unknown…its more fun out at the edge
Failte Back Christy! : D I hope you missed us as much as we missed you. XOX
P.S Did everyone have to register again & did anyone find out how you change your new password to something easier to remember? : )

These recent weeks, without access to you listeners, was not as bad but it did remind me of those dark iPhone days…and yes, we all need to register again, mysel included…cant answer your last question
