Hi Christy,
Just back from A Lazarus Soul in Vicar Street.
Jaysus but that Briany lad has some stage presence.
Highlight for me was A Tar Road. But in fairness they
didn’t make a mess of Lemons7 or Black and Amber.
Got a copy of No Flowers Grow In Cement Gardens.
So that’s going to get spun this Easter weekend.
Good Friday ? It was bleeding rapid.
Niamh Regan opened the show.
Nicely MacNiece was impressed.
Keep her lit and enjoy the Munster hurling.
Hope the recording is going well.
Happy Easter
Bourkey

Christy:
Longtime fan of your artistry and spirit. I’m producing a documentary about our mutual friend Mick Moloney. He and I were friends and cohorts beginning in the 1980’s up until his departure from the planet.
I produced his first documentary with RTE “Did your Mother Come From Ireland”. I’d love to have a chat or an email to see if you’d like to talk about your connections with him over the years and to see if you could contribute an
interview for the film. I’ve already had one story from Johnny Morrissey about the two of you from Dublin in the 60’s that involved a lie night in a bank vault…
I reached out here because I had no other email for contact info. So, there you have it.
Hi Christy,
Easter Sunday night in Mountmellick, looking forward to it. Hope we don’t have too much Chocolate on board. I’m trying to remember when you gigged there last… I’m sure you have the answer.
Ride on.
Best regards
Patsy

I recall a lovely venue and a good listening audience..
it being The Queen’s County, a sense of gentility has prevailed. However, elements of good crack start to appear as Bórd na Móna fusiliers hit town bringin the raw bar and the pure drop..and its only a short hop from Maryboro with its links to Henry 8th
Off topic from music, but not from core values here…
http://www.whitworth.manchester.ac.uk. Is a fantastic gallery and setting. Today,I’d checked the website and set off on a sunny walk…keen to see the exhibitions listed.soon, blown away by the most recent additions…
‘celebrate Roma culture and history through textile storytelling’,said the blurb for the works by Polish Roma artist, Malgorzata Mirga-Tas…but,nothing truly describes the large scale, dramatic, intricate pieces. So well worth seeing or at least checking out via numerous online accolades for the highly acclaimed artist…
Discovery is often a revelation. Certainly,today ..

Hello Christy,
Well it was a good night at the Panther Club
I sang
Inchicore Wake
Foxy Devil (acapella)
Come up the stairs
January Man (acapella)
Someone sang a fab song about a black fox that turns into the devil and chases all the huntsmen back to town.
Now I’m learning
Allende
Dark Eyed Sailor
Rebecca
Be The Honey Becky, you are some Woman for the songs, keep up the good work and enjoy every minute of it..Happy Easter to you and your Uileann Piper
