Hi Christy. Hope you made it back home safely. Thank you for yet another mystical & magical evening…..46 seasons not out you say – Incredible stuff. The passion and energy you have for what you do astounds me at times, it must be the Viagra… LOL ! I have to say there was a lovely vibe @ the Hillgrove hotel tonight and it was evident right from the off (not a nerve in sight I must add) the banter was good and the music wasn’t bad either…great to see St. Brendan getting a rare run out. Lots of other highlights as well, far too many to mention…..Thank you for doing “The Hills” for me – I hope they’re still alive with the scent of Sam come Sunday evening…..Lovely as always to meet the gang and particularly special to get a gig here in Kerry….It’s only taken me a lifetime to get here, but I will be back soon again I hope. Long trek back in the morning Christy, but not to worry I’m on a real Buzz tonight …It doesn’t get much better than this. Love & Respect Martin Mac

good luck to you Marty….glad to know that you had a good night after travelling the length of the Island…Im looking forward to tomorrows clash..they say that Cork are favourites but I think its an even clash…as we passed Limerick last night Mick pulled out that bar of chocolate…it was massive….on examining I thought it was a copy of Cadburys whole nut but further investigation proved it to be a far superior product..an abundance of nuts and all of them whole…we decided to have 2 squares each but the inevitable happened…2 squares was too many, the entire bar was not enough…by the time we hit the M50 we were swollen with choclate..I had to do an extra 5 miles on the tradmill today to try and retain my svelte figure
Welcome back Christy! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. Looking forward to hearing more about your new covers. Good Luck tonight. Take care, Steph xox
Wonderful chat. Appears you’ve been having a wonderful August. Now up in the north woods. Green and rain kindling my desire to be back in Ireland, sitting in a front row seat at a Christy Moore concert.

Hiya Christy, Hope all is well….Docked safely here in Dingle patiently awaiting the arrival of the CM Roadshow….First time down these parts – it’s a long drive, would have been handier hitching a lift off an ould trawler out of Killybegs…LOL ! Impressed with what I have seen of the Kingdom so far, and hoping to get a few hours sightseeing in tomorrow….Looking forward to the gig tomorrow night….Bring it on…..Love & Respect Martin Mac

I now have most of your CDs.I have all 6 slots w/ Planxty CDs.In my cars CD player. Can you tell me how to order the “Reunion DVD? I gig regularly with my own songs and every time I sing one of my songs I wish you had sung it. Its called Nancy – please have a listen and see if you fancy it. You would eat it alive! http://soundcloud.com/billtheguitarist/nancy
Hi Christy, Have you ever played Sidmouth Folk Week ? Just got back from Sidmouth and had a great time. Highlight of the week for me was your mate Donal Lunny. My Lord they can play !! Best bit of music I’ve heard since seeing you at Clifden Arts Fest. He said it was the first time he’d played there since the Bothy Band. Wished I’d seen that. All the best.

Christy,
Thanks for another brilliant CHAT, something to keep us occupied while you are on a well deserved break. Be careful when you go to An Riocht, no SAM again this year —— they may be in a bad mood——, then again a blast of the ‘Rose’ will surely get them going !!!
Hi Christy…. Hope your enjoying the wee break. Thanks for the latest chat. All going well here in Donegal, still in the hunt for SAM !!! Looking forward to seeing you below in the Kingdom in a couple of weeks.. Love & Respect Martin Mac

I hope you’re enjoying the break and looking forward to a big Kingdom welcome next week. Not too long now until Declan’s CD hits the streets. Interesting wee article in today’s Examiner about a Dublin storytelling website. http://www.irishexaminer.com/lifestyle/features/humaninterest/city-streets-come-alive-to-the-sound-of-spinning-yarns-204255.html
Anything that helps to keep the old stories and yarns alive should be encouraged. There’s a link to the site at the bottom of the article.
