Hi Christy, hope you are well . Have been listening to you for years, seems a bit weird to be actually talking to you. The best of luck on your forth coming travels, I know you’ll knock ’em dead. Christy, is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the similarities between now and a hundred years ago? Was listening to The Ballad of Jim Larkin (Tram workers), and wondered just what has changed, so I penned a new song using the same air. How would I go about letting you have a look, if your interested?

If any of the music lovers here can catch Declan on is solo gigs, it’s one not to miss. I caught him (not literary!) in Whelan’s about 2 weeks ago and it was a great gig and his new album is spot on! Oh and Christy, you’re not half bad either! Enjoy the few gigs across the water, say hi to Liz for me. Rumour has it that she’s on the guest list for the Barrowlands!
Hi All…. People are getting ready for UK tour…. some young fella even doing all gigs,,, enjoy and safe travelling all. Here is a link to an interview with some great insights by CM on Bob,, follow link & click on blog. H
Hoping you enjoy the next few days in the UK. Please come back to London again soon and please, please let your fans know in advance as the Festival Hall sells out so quickly it is very hard to get seats. Wish we could come up to York to see you.

Mike Harding will survive……he will now have time to focus entirely on his creative side..Mike has long been a champion of music…the BBC have treated him very badly…
We would like to offer two front row tickets for York Barbican on November 5th.
We’ve been looking forward to this special gig for months and were happily prepared to travel from London to savour one of the greatest live performers.
Sadly Howard’s mum passed away last week so we have had to cancel our plans to travel to York.
Please message me at rachel.kitts@btinternet.com as we would like other fans to have these tickets and enjoy what we know will be a special gig.
Have a wonderful night. Wish we were there
Rachel xx & Howard x

For some reason it reminded me of Sean Reeve whose father posted here of his love of your music following his death in Afghanistan. The armies change, the fields of war change but young men still die for causes we never fully understand. Sad to say.
Hi Christy, Hope this finds you well. Thank you for your most recent Chat, highly descriptive and hopelessly delightful as ever…..enjoyed reading through, from Dingle to Dublin, from the Picnic to the Spa, and everywhere else in between…..I have to say that the Hillgrove gig was a really special night for me and will live long in the memory……….sorry missed out on Lisdoon, would have loved to have been there…..great to see the spirit of Skippy lives on though …..Fair Play ! Getting all geared up and excited for the Scottish trip, never been to Edinburgh before (another first) …then it’s over to Glasgow – the thought of Anuk being Frisked at the Barras has me out in cold sweats LOL !!! Am away to Merseyside first though this weekend. Bringing the young nephew to see the RedMen take on the Geordies. It will be his first visit to the hallowed turf of Anfield – a good wee footballer he is, had trials earlier in the year with Ipswitch Town…..Like yourself I have a busy schedule Christy – and I’m Luvin it ! CYA in the Highlands…Love & Respect Martin Mac
