Hello Christy and All,
I’m sad she’s died.
I think that Queens are a really bad idea.
A president would understand that sitting in front of a gold plated piano while talking about poverty is offensive on every level, much better that a queen can.
But she’s a person and she died. That makes me sad.
We’re probably going to hear about nothing else round here for weeks. Liz Truss will have plenty of opportunity to bury her disasters under this.

Morning Christy,
Ed we conquered the ice cream stall on Laytown strand for probably the tenth year and cleaned the bookies’ satchels, bought up all the toblerone and fruit from the dublin sisters’ pram on the way out and even got a photo with young Tom Hamilton a Hawick jockey (and friend of son Charlie) who was beaten by a short head in the last, after we tasted a few creamy pints.
In short YES Laytown was on and when the tannoy announcement came over from Balmoral we were just a mile or so from Bettystown but we kept on course with the revelling.

Rory, your feet wont hit the ground on that Irish break. Are Laytown Races on? Holy gawd, was at it once. Try and back the winner in Saturday’s Champion Stakes.
I could only get a Kilmarnock game from nine years ago where the Parkhead choir still remembered the words of ‘Brigada’. But Rebecca has now inserted a clip from the Real Madrid game and the choir in full verse.

Is it you I see lying in the sand, Christy boy”
Do you know there is a lovely sandsculpture on the beach we think of you were a model. Titled Family Tree. 😉

Cammy is over the moon at your reply to his post about Viva La Quinta Brigade. It was electrifying to see the supporters singing your great song.

Hi Christy
Good luck with the gig tonight.
Hopefully be up there next June for the Rory Gallagher festival.
Nigel Rolfe and yourself paid him a fitting tribute.
Love that first verse
And Rory’s gone
To play the blues in heaven
Above the clouds
With all the angels singing there
His records scratched
Like his beaten up old fender
But the songs are strong
And the notes hang in the air
Hard to believe that it’s 1995 since he’s gone.
Any memories of him ?

Good to hear your Voice requests on the ” Caravan Show” tonight. Lovely choices and as you would say yourself “a noble call”.
Did I correctly hear Oisín say you are in collaboration with Imelda and others on a piece of work?
Safe journey to the “Hills” tomorrow………first stop Mother Hubbards.

I’ve never had the courage to ask, so it’s interesting to read your comment, Bourkey.
