You probably don’t remember but you called my dad Robbie Dunn to come to one of your gigs in 1992 and my mum was pregnant with me at the time of your gig (she was due any day) and I was just wondering if you remember. Sally

Do you have snow? I saw a kind of a snow shower but it was gone before it got to the ground.Sharon ní Bheoláin shows all this snow all over the place. I think it might not be real. But I can’t figure out why they would say theres snow when there isn’t.
The weather lady says flurry sneachta ..I didn’t know what that was. It sounded like an icecream I got in mac donalds ..a mac flurry. and waited to see it but never came.Did you get flurrys?

theres a few flakes floating about..the last thing I want is Easter Snow..I dont mind singing about it but thats as far as it goes…when I was a young buck I loved it…we used to make sleighs from cardboard boxes and slide down the Curragh Hills…another time we had a slide in the handball alley, it was 1959..I tripped and flew into the wall and smashed all my front teeth…I still remember that crunching sound, thinking about I still see stars. Walking home in the snow feeling very sorry for myself
Hello Christy. Back home in Newfoundland, Canada now after a wonderful trip around Ireland! Just a note that I did finally get to see your March 21st show after in Belfast with great seats. It was a fantastic show and after being a fan for many years, I was really happy to finally get to see your live performance. Declan and yourself did a great job and thanks again for a memorable evening!! Any chance you will ever play over this way?
Cheers
Derek

Once played 6 in The Dominion on Tottenham Court Road…me and Sid were living in the van at the back of the venue..remember having a great music one night with Steve Cooney and Liam Ó Maonlaoí ( in the van)… Seamus Begley and Steve Cooney played those gigs too
Ah Jimi the barber have you ever brought back the memories. 9th November ’91 I too was 21 living in West London, fresh out of a degree working as a secretary. I was at the Hammersmith gig. I remember being utterly captivated. Shortly after that gig I hitch hiked to Germany with a red haired guitar player from Liverpool. I didn’t meet Joxer in Stuttgart and The answer was not found on the road. The only constant?….well Christy of course. 🙂 xx
Hi again! I still have the unused ticket from Thursday. Do you think there would be any chance that Ticketmaster would exchange it for one of the May shows?
Hi there Christy, i was wondering if you would be interested in becoming a Ambassador for the attackthetax people, wwwattackthetax .com We need a few influential people like yourself. best regards john k
Hi Christy,
Fantastic show on Thursday night from Declan and yourself. I have been a follower for thirty years plus but it was the first time my daughter Shannon has seen you live and she just couldn’t believe it, you ticked all the right boxes! My lads have travelled to Killarney to hear you in the past so another legion of fans. It still amazes me though that people can’t just sit and listen as you and Declan take us on your/our journey without shouting out and clapping at the most inappropiate moments. Anyway apart from one or two gobshites full of whatever the remainder of the crowd were fantastic and added to a wonderful evening.

hope all is cool in The Scullery..thanks for the thumbs up.
Must say Christy your memory amazes me sometimes of how you can remember the names ,the time ,the place,I think my brain is a little fried sometimes. I can imagine the reminders are in the songs for you …..For me its the gig ticket stubs (sad I know) but anyway they jog my memory of great times and I was just lookin through a few . I was in Hammersmith Odeon for three of the finest gigs I ever went to Clannad, Dire Straits , And Christy moore , I remember if I am right you played two weekends there in November 1991, I was looking at my ticket stub and I seen you on 9/11/91 and I was 21 at the time and exactly 21 years later 9/11/2002 my last pint of Bud . I will never forget those great nights and its great to see that Such great artists like Yourself and Mark Knopfler are still playing to sell out crouds to this day…Roll on Killarney !! Might drop ya down an Apple Pie !!
